The Modern Gold Cross Baptism and First Communion Cake is a custom buttercream celebration cake baked in a 100% dedicated nut-free and lactose-free kitchen - decorated in a contemporary two-tone finish of calming sage green and crisp white buttercream, centred around a hand-sculpted gold cross finished with high-shine edible gold leaf. It is suited to Baptism, First Communion, and Confirmation ceremonies where a modern botanical aesthetic is preferred over a traditional fondant design.
The exterior combines four distinct decorative elements: the two-tone textured buttercream base applied in sage and white panels; a shimmering gold cross centrepiece hand-sculpted from food-safe fondant and finished with edible gold leaf; botanical greenery and white rose accents arranged at the base — please note the foliage accents are decorative by default, with a fully edible version available on request; and hand-painted gold splatter detailing across the white tier for a contemporary finish. The accent buttercream colour is customisable to light blue, soft pink, lavender, or grey - specify at checkout to match your ceremony theme. A personalised message can be added to the cake board in matching script.
Every cake is baked fresh in a 100% dedicated nut-free and lactose-free facility, IFANCA Halal certified, alcohol-free, and gelatine-free as standard. This design is available with an eggless or vegan sponge option, ensuring every guest can celebrate safely - confirm at time of ordering.
