Custom Burn-Away Surprise Reveal Cake – Edible Wafer Paper, Hidden Image or Message Reveal | 100% Nut-Free, Custom Design | iCakes

The Custom Burn-Away Surprise Reveal Cake is a custom buttercream birthday and celebration cake baked in a 100% dedicated nut-free and lactose-free kitchen - featuring a food-safe edible wafer paper top layer printed with your chosen image or message, which when lit at the centre burns away slowly and cleanly to reveal a second hidden image or message printed on the buttercream surface beneath. It is suited to milestone birthdays, gender reveals, proposals, anniversary surprises, and any celebration where a dramatic reveal moment is the centrepiece of the event.

The burn-away mechanism works in two layers. The top edible wafer print is your visible design - a photo, message, or graphic of your choice. The hidden reveal beneath is a second image or message that remains completely concealed until the wafer burns away. The buttercream border self-extinguishes the flame once the paper is fully burned, making the process clean and controlled. Both images are uploaded separately at checkout. The cake is available in 6" and 8" round and heart shapes and is fully customisable in decor colour, writing colour, and personalised message.

This cake is produced with a lower sugar formulation, making it suitable for health-conscious guests and those managing sugar intake. Baked fresh in a 100% dedicated nut-free and lactose-free facility, IFANCA Halal certified, alcohol-free, and gelatine-free as standard. This design is available with an eggless or vegan sponge option - confirm at time of ordering.
